John is co-founder, Program and Music Director and member of the Board of Directors at Cape Fear Radio. John was born and raised in North Carolina, wandered with no particular direction before being rescued by the prospects of a life together with the woman who would become his wife, and a late commitment to education. He spent more than 30 years in the Midwest raising a family and building a career before returning to North Carolina. John is passionate about many things, including family, friends, community, music, golf, and a culture of learning. He talks a lot, is occasionally funny, and walks way too slow.
