Hank is Chief Meteorologist at Cape Fear Radio. He retired after 32 years in the Navy as an oceanographer and meteorologist. Today, he continues his vocation as a forecaster, concentrating his efforts on wind sports from Tidewater Virginia to the Florida border. Hank and Lisa moved to Southport from Virginia and built a home in 2005 after discovering it on a sailing trip and falling in love with the area. They’ve been sailing local waters ever since aboard their 42-foot sloop, Haanli.
